What's the Difference?

The inimitable Dale Price has a way - with just a few words - of distilling an issue down to its essence:
Q: What's the difference between a pro-life Catholic Obama supporter and a pro-abortion Catholic Obama supporter?

A: No idea.

You certainly can't tell by what they do or say, can you?

The pro-abortion Obama supporter will support Obama's pro-abortion initiatives.

The pro-life Obama supporter will not support Obama's pro-abortion initiatives though he may support other policies.

In the words of St. Thomas Moore,
"I am the kings faithful servant, but God's first"

Again, I'm not really seeing much of a difference. Every time we have another anti-life initiative from Obama, all I see is a bunch of allegedly "pro-life" Obama supporters either looking the other way or scrambling to make excuses for him.

Perhaps, that is why we do not have a lot canonized politicians.

But sometimes they do speak out like the Dems for life criticizing the ESCR decision.
