Embrace Islam, Al Qaida leader tells Pope

Coward hiding in a cave "urges" leader of 1 billion Catholics to convert to the Religion of PeaceĀ®:
Sep. 29 (CWNews.com) - The second-ranking official in Al Qaida called upon Pope Benedict XVI to convert to Islam, in a videotaped message released on September 29.

In an Arabic-language message, delivered in videotape format to Islamic media outlets, Ayman al Zawahiri charged that in his Regensburg speech Pope Benedict was stirring up the same "superstitions" and fears of Islam that had led to the Crusades.

However, Zawahiri called for a peaceful reaction to the Pope's remarks. "If Benedict attacks us, we will respond to his insults with good things," he said. Muslims, the Al Qaida leader said, should urge the Pope "and all Christians to become Muslims."

In his videotaped message, the terrorist leader reserved his harshest rhetoric for US President George W. Bush, whom he described as a "charlatan" and a "liar."
My Comments:
I'll say this much for the Al Qaida guys: they know how to play the PR game much better than we do.
